Bruceton
Mills, WV – Home of Pretzel Arena features up to date
state-of-the-art (150 ft. x 255 ft.) arena with 450 tons of sand as a base, night
lighting, rodeo fencing, press box, PA system, electronic gates,
and laser electronic timer system for rodeo riders. |
|
This
West Virginia rodeo arena attracts riders who participate in multiple events
including – team and single individual cattle penning,
cattle roping, bull riding, barrel racing and more! There is something for
every rider ranging from only six years old, to the more mature
rodeo rider and enthusiast. Spectators will be treated to an afternoon
and evening of excitement, talking about horses, horse trailers,
trucks, BBQ and everything under the sun. The riders range from
the enthusiast to real contenders. |

Meet Pretzel Arena's newest addition to the bull ring!
Weighing in at over 2,000 pounds of brute muscle and
strength, this bad boy stands above six feet at the top of
has shoulder and can make eight (8) seconds seem
like a lifetime! Watch the schedule as we will be announcing
bull riding events through the rest of the season.
Armageddon joins the herd of six other riding bulls and will
be featured for those riders who want the challenge! |

June 29, 2008.
The rain held off long enough to have local kids participate in the
Pretzel Arena Fun Day. Little cowboys and cowgirls had a real
blast with egg races, sack races, poles, barrel racing and mutton
busting. Trophies and ribbons were given to all the athletes who
participated. A special thanks goes to Robin Metheny and her group of
volunteers who helped make this event special for the kids. |

The next
Pretzel Arena Fun Day is scheduled for August 24, 2008. Come
out and have a great time with your youngsters. Someone once said,
"the greatest music in the world is the sound of children laughing",
despite the weather, children laughed. Don't worry about horses, seems
to be a few around. Please check the schedule of events for updates
and cancellations. |

NBHA WV-03 , 6/28/08

Pretzel
Arena, Bruceton Mills, WV - June 28, 2008. After so much
rain and disappointment, the rain finally let up for WV-03 Chapter of
the NBHA to hold its second event this year at the arena. The results
will be posted as soon as they are forwarded to us. The day's events
were concluded with practice Bull Riding which kept spectators
entertained until...the clouds opened up again. |

Bruceton Mills, WV – Pretzel Arena is pleased to announce that
we will have overnight horse boarding capabilities for overnight
participants during the 2008 Season. If you plan on
participating and would like to board overnight, please contact us and
we will be happy to make our pasture and watering pond available.
Motel accommodations, in the brand new Microtel Inn & Suites are
available for overnight guests about ten minutes from Pretzel Arena. |
